Introdução às ciências cognitivas e à aplicação de seus pressupostos teóricos e metodológicos na pesquisa em processos criativos musicais, a partir da revisão de conceitos e teorias basilares como: fenômeno, cognição, experiência, mente, ação, atenção, memória, cognitivismo, mente computacional, inteligência artificial, propriedades emergentes, conexionismo, auto-organização, representacionismo, cognição e enacionismo, incorporação da mente, categorização, esquemas de imagem, semântica cognitiva da música.
