The Research Group MusMat holds between the 18th and the 22nd of october the VI International Conference MusMat 2021: Schoenberg: Music and Mathmatics (Hommage to Arnold Schoenberg). The event event counts with the participation of a significant number of world-renowned national and foreign researchers, invited to lectures on their most recent research associated with the theoretical and artistic work of this important composer. Given the current pandemic situation, the conference will be carried out entirely in online format, through video conferences and virtual debates. The conference has several researchers of recognized actuation in the confluence between the areas of Mathematics and Music, who will present and debate their work at round tables and lectures. We also highlight the presence of communications and panel discussions about research and, especially, the conditions under which they are being carried out in the context of the pandemic. Five concerts (one on each day of the event), involving different instrumentation and interpreters, will contemplate the artistic dimension of the congress.
