III Congress of the Brazilian Association of Musical Theory and Analysis (TeMA) & IV International Congress on Music and Mathematics

The event takes place from October 21 to 25 and is a realization of the Brazilian Association of Music Theory and Analysis (TeMA), MusMat Research Group, Graduate Music Program of UFRJ, Graduate Music Program of UNIRIO, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Engineering Club of Rio de Janeiro, with the support of CAPES.

With six international guests – Edgardo Rodríguez (National University of La Plata), Gabriel Pareyon (University of Guadalajara), Jean-Pierre Briot (IRCAM / CNRS), Jose Oliveira Martins (University of Coimbra), Patrick McCreless (Yale University), Robert Morris (Rochester University / Eastman School of Music) – and at least fourteen national guests, the meeting promises to maintain the relevance of previous editions of the two series – TeMA Congresses and MusMat Congresses.
